Well, to the Curacao government’s credit, they have set at least some standards for master license operators, and I would say, particularly the license verification system is good and quite effective.
How does it work? Each online casino licensed by any Curacao master license operator (as we already know there are 4 of them) must have a licensed seal on the bottom of the casino’s website, so that online casino players could easily verify its validity.

It can be forged easily, so I would not recommend to deal with Curacao Interactive Licensing N.V. at all.
Anyway, here is what it might look like. Is it legit or not? There is no way to be sure, because there is no official license verification service, and every even slightly experienced photoshop master can forge it in a few minutes.
Hence, it is not a reliable method at all.
A VERY IMPORTANT precaution must be taken (otherwise the verification is useless)!
I guess many of you already know that every website on the internet has got its own unique address, which is called domain name. For example, the domain name of the website you are currently on is casino-howto.com (you can see its name on the top of your web browser).
Moreover, domain names can have some prefixes. The most well-known are:
www (world wide web),
http (hypertext transfer protocol),
https (hypertext transfer protocol secure).
So to say, https://casino-howto.com, http://casino-howto.com and www.casino-howto.com are exactly the same, and if you enter any of them (including simply casino-howto.com) on the top of your web browser, you will end up on my website. Also, there could be other prefixes, unique for each domain. For example, I have [email protected], which is a dedicated email address for my domain specifically.
Why am I bringing up all that stuff? Because, let’s say, casino-howtoo.com (even one letter matters) or casinohowto.com (dashes also matter) or casino-howto.net (suffix also matters) are different domain names, which have nothing to do with my website.
I guess you are starting to get the idea as each master license operator (as I said before) has its own website dedicated specifically for verification purposes. How do fake Curacao licensed online casinos take advantage of this? They put the seal on the bottom, exactly as legit Curacao casinos do, and when a player clicks on it, he/she is going to be redirected to a fake license verification webpage.
